Welcome to Sugarloaf! This charming, peaceful, and quaint neighborhood in Big Bear City, CA offers a serene mountain getaway with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay.
Sugarloaf is a great choice for those looking for a more tranquil and relaxing vacation. Surrounded by lush forests, this neighborhood provides the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and unwind in a serene environment. The neighborhood is wonderfully eclectic, every house has its own unique personality.
One of the best features is its proximity to the slopes. Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are just a short drive away. During the summer months, there are plenty of hiking and biking trails to explore, as well as fishing and boating at nearby Big Bear Lake.
You’ll have access to 4 parking spots in the driveway. Additionally, the Big Bear Trolley stops 2 blocks away and is a free resource to take you to all Big Bear attractions.
There’s a great convenience store, Easy’s General Store, just a walk away that sells beer, wine, snacks, and other vacation essentials. Across from Easy’s is Kallan’s Bar and Grill, a fun local restaurant/bar that has great burgers! They make a mean cocktail too.
Worth Noting
- This is not the space for parties inside or outside, loud music, inside or outside, or loud voices outside. We have full time neighbors, so please be respectful of the homes and work schedules.
- Quiet hours are strictly enforced. Courtesy quiet hours are 7am-10pm and mandatory quiet hours are 10pm-7am.
- The bathroom upstairs doesn’t have a shower, only the bathroom downstairs.
- From November 1 to April 1, it is required to travel with chains regardless of the weather forecast.
- Our pet fee is $75 per stay.
